My 8 Personal Year for 2008

 Success in finances and business affairs are indicated by the number 8. Remember to share the wealth with those in need to reap the full benefit of this very powerful number. Be practical and efficient in all you do at this time. Sometimes circumstances will not be easy and you have to take care to be honest in applying your energies precisely. Employ justice with mercy in every area of your life and remember, what goes around, comes around. Energy and endurance are in abundance this year. The vibration of the 8 is intellectual so prepare, think and apply the power that is yours. Now is the time for action, so stop deliberating and do! Physically you will be feeling good and have the energy to bring all tasks to a successful conclusion.    
 

Remember that the opportunities for success are here now, but like everything else there are stipulations. One of them implies that just because a certain degree of "luck" has arrived in your life doesn't mean you can sit back on your laurels and it will come to you. In certain ways it will, but for the most part, you have to work for your rewards. Another area that is important is learning to carefully balance your money or material side with your spiritual side. Your spiritual side will require you to look at your life and come to terms with how and where the abundance that has been thrust upon you is used. If you make money through the misfortune of others for instance, are you turning a certain amount of that money back to the unfortunate to keep the influences turning full circle, or are you using it for your own greed. Fear not, the universe will be the final judge!

Social work and politics are favored, but health matters may suffer somewhat and precautions are advised, especially around stress and worry. It might be helpful to drink more fluids and juices and use more spices such as GARLIC to rid the blood of toxins and strengthen the heart. You will be victorious over your enemies and in legal matters, the odds turn in your favor.

Great rewards, job advancements, recognition, raises, honors, awards and legacies are possible if your KARMA has been positive, BUT, if you have been bad or used your life in the misfortune of others, then material losses, financial problems, unemployment or total bankruptcy will occur. This can be a time of greatly increased workloads that brings greater obligations and stress into your life to deal with. You can receive an inheritance, win the lottery or smaller amounts at this time. You will find that your sexual needs build or reach a peak more than at other times which may overwhelm you, as well as others, needing a constant outlet for its expression. Understand that this outlet for your sexuality must be spiritually fulfilling at the same time, or it will be a very unfulfilling experience.

Large corporations and organizations have the greatest chance of success for you now. Impatience to reach your goals, along with a constant need to scheme to get ahead are avenues you should avoid. Let things progress at their own pace. This goes for love relationships that start now as well. Don't push it, let it become unglued all by itself.

Advancements can be seen in personal power, business agreements and contacts with the outer world. Emotional decisions will work to your detriment as well as forcing issues which cause injury to yourself. It would be much better for you to stay "unemotional" and detached in matters of love until you are sure where the relationship is going. Avoid being too demanding and dominant over others. Use a more peaceful form of persuasion. This is a difficult time for handling emotional problems pertaining to the family as your emotions will be out of whack.

Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is the ruler of big business. Money, power and recognition are yours but like everything else, if you apply it destructively, you lose the effort. Anyone who holds you back from using your analytical prowess would drive you crazy.

 Although this is a wonderful year for the big break to come, you can expect past debts to be called due as well. Associations with marriage, divorce, intimate relations and pregnancy will be issues to be dealt with. New relationships can very well find their beginnings here, or you may want to rekindle relationships from your past. Health issues  include  bones, knees,  headaches, blood,  liver, bile, constipation, or teeth. Avoid any animal foods and eat vegetables, fruits and herbs. Vulnerable months for health and overworking the body are December, January, February and July. Associations with Capricorn or Libra people are accented. This is not an auspicious time to travel and if you try to, blocks will be put in your way that will prevent it every time.

One danger of the 8 energy is a stubborn and rigid nature. You will be more efficient in your work and filled with energy. Organizing and administering abilities are heightened. You can easily be  the inspiration for others to follow. Be careful in your quest for money now, you may be VERY successful, but find little pleasure in what it can do for you. You may abuse the power and influence you have over others and be intolerant to their faults. People won't like you very much! On the other hand, the 8 energy may be afraid to take any risks at all in asserting the self  image, feeling  limitations and dissatisfaction. The goal with this energy is the SATISFACTION that allows you to be free to do what you want and take control of your life and not to let the money and power take control of you for its own end and purpose.

While studying the Hindu scriptures, I found that while in the number 8 personal year, you can find friendship with people born with the numbers 4, 5 or 6 as a birth number or with people in a 4, 5 or 6 personal year. You will not get along with people who have 1, 2 or 9 as a destiny number or in a 1, 2 or 9 year. People who are in a 3 year or have 3 destiny number will be neither bad or good, but rather neutral.
