Domestic matters directly pertaining to your home are the key focus now and responsibilities can come that you may not
have encountered before. Balance that checkbook, budget yourself and be realistic in expenditures. Cut out all but the
necessary now and find ways to survive that not only feed the intellect, but the pocket book as well. Turn down a
thermostat, put a timer on the hot-water heater, limit phone calls, eliminate subscriptions to magazines you never
read anyway, throw away those mail order flyers before you read them, put away your credit cards and pay cash, turn
off the shopping channels and avoid anything that says "free". Use cheaper brands of foods than the very best available,
eat meals at home or brown bag it instead of eating out all the time. Find ways to amuse yourself at home rather than going out.
This is an excellent time for family relationships, romance and conceiving a child should you desire to. It is an
auspicious time for decorating, entertaining or enjoying your surroundings. If you are looking for a job, you can find one
now, so be on the lookout. Sensual or sexual enjoyment is heightened and you can find new sources of pleasure in that
department. Unexpected wealth and increases in your salary can easily occur as well.
You may find family members leaving the nest as they go off to school or get married, babies arriving, relatives needing
help can move in temporarily, family members can use your support during an illness or emotional crisis. You may decide
to settle down with a relationships in the day to day living sense. This is an excellent time to firm up some muscles or
investigate new beauty techniques. Expect people to seek you out for advice or tell you their problems. There can also
be some court or government legalities that arrive as well. If balance has not been attained in your personal
relationships, there can be irreconcilable differences that can end or alter it in some way.
While the 6 is a number of service, don't allow yourself to get caught up in meddling or interfering in the lives of others,
either through pure intentions or self-satisfying purposes. In actuality, you will be most effective by being somewhat
"detached" from others and avoid distress over the smallest details.
Housecleaning, repairing and seeing to the needs of your immediate environment are all under the number 6. An
additional note should be made in the 6 year. Expect by the second month of the year to be helping out anyone who
crosses your path, from friends, family, neighbors and the person who is looking for $1. for a drink and cigarettes.
Help all that you can unless of course it infringes on your own survival and well being. Allocate a very small amount for
that person or persons who will eventually find you and hit you up for money. This is one of the tests of the 6 year.
You will be called on to help others under the 6 year. Accept this as a way of giving back all the nice things that have been
done to or for you. A time of tithing either monetarily, physically or materially. People may require more of you than you
are willing to give, but give until it hurts and then some without regretting it. Yes, even to that one person who makes you
cringe when they ask you for a favor. Do even more for them to receive the full benefits and blessings of this year. By the
end of the year things will have settled down some. You are being tested in the area of love, unselfishness and
generosity. It cannot come back to you if you don't give it out first, then expect it ten fold.
A wonderful year for romantic episodes, love and marriage but also separations, divorce, births and abortions. This is
also a time for miscarriages of pregnancies as well. People in the astrological signs Taurus, Cancer and Libra are
accented. Health problems can develop affecting the tonsils, vocal cords, lungs, heart, nose, breasts and throat.
Vulnerable times for health and overwork are May, October and November. Recognition and improvements in circumstances are favored but travels are likely to be limited now.
Romance is sure to be in the air now, as you strive to be married or have friends near by to talk to. Crude behavior in
any form is stifling to your sympathetic nature and you will stay as far away from rude or obnoxious people as possible.
You may buy new clothes or engage in a new appearance to reflect your loving and affectionate moods and marriages
that take place during a 6 year, stand a good chance of lasting. Make commitments to love and relationships now.
Actually, it isn't a bad year if you get into a routine and accept the fact that you are taking care of things around you that
have supported you. Get into harmony with your life and the universe will assist your endeavors.
Employment prospects are deemed excellent and occupational and financial burdens should be lessened due to the
beneficial protection of the number 6. You may not save very much, but you will be comfortable and prosperous. this
is an excellent year to promote your business and enjoy the rewards from it.
Educational matters can advance now, and perhaps you will take a class or teach one. Learning is favorable whether
through school or day to day experiences that will prove to be very uplifting. Perhaps a study course at home on the
educational channels would be different. At any rate you will try to improve yourself on any level you feel deficient in. It
would drive you close to insanity to feel unappreciated or underpaid for what you feel is fair compensation for your efforts.
Marriage will bring you happiness now because of your harmonious attitude, and Venus is the traditional ruler of the 6
personal year. This is an excellent year for marriage, home, family and loved ones. Financial protection in some way will be with you this year.
One danger of the 6 personal year energy is being overpowered by RESPONSIBILITIES and becoming a door mat
for people in your environment. You are so willing to help others that you may not realize that people may be taking
advantage of your good nature. Be willing to help others out of love and friendship and help others to stand on their own
two feet. You can easily be called upon to be of service to others way beyond the call of work and service and feel you
are being used, or perform a service that defies explanation. You may be used, but I believe you are being "tested" in the
area of strength of character. Perhaps being used is a tool that the universe judges you by and sets up positive
circumstances for the future. The work and service that you perform for others can leave you with a lot of unanswered
questions, but provide positive side effects in the process. If you provide help for someone else, see it through
unemotionally and then be on your way. Expect very little thanks, but know you have done something to help another human being.
Sacrifices involving forgiveness, compassion, service to others, understanding and love are emphasized.
Humanitarian efforts that demand a great deal of your time and dedication such as counseling, teaching or educating others will be fulfilling, but exhausting.
There can also be difficulties in relationships with others. You can become a very effective teacher for others if you so
choose, and artistic and creative abilities are heightened. You may also seek the intimacy of marriage, learning to balance your life through hard work to make it work.
While studying the Hindu scriptures, I found that while in the number 6 personal year, you can find friendship with people
born with the numbers 4, 5 or 8 as a birth number or with people in a 4, 5 or 8 personal year. You will not get along with
people who have 1 or 2 as a destiny number or in a 1 or 2 year. People who are in a 3 or 9 year or have a 3 or 9 destiny number will be neither bad or good, but rather neutral.
